Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-02 · English only (initial version)
This Privacy Policy explains how The Flywheel Corporation (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data when you use Tipmaster — the Tipmaster football prediction game at tipmaster.net (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and the display name you choose (shown on leaderboards).
- Authentication data: a securely hashed password, or — if you sign in with Google — your Google account email and basic profile, used only to create and access your account.
- Gameplay data: the predictions you make, the leagues you join, results, and related activity.
- Technical data: standard log and device data (e.g. IP-derived country, browser type) and analytics/cookie data (see §5).
2. How we use your data
- To create and run your account, leagues, and the game.
- To send you account and game emails (e.g. account activation and invitations) via our email provider.
- To secure the Service and prevent abuse.
- For analytics, research, product development and the training of models that support the Service, as described in §5 of the Terms, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service. We use this data in anonymized form (stripped of data that directly identifies you) or pseudonymized form (linked to pseudonymous identifiers and broad attributes rather than your real-world identity). You may object to the use of your pseudonymized data for model training and research at any time in your account settings or by contacting us. We do not sell data that directly identifies you; only aggregated, anonymized insights may be shared with partners.
- To publish crowd consensus statistics: the combined predictions of all players for a match (for example, the share expecting a home win, a draw or an away win, and the most common exact scores), including before kick-off, only for all players of a match combined and never for fewer than 20 players, as described in §5 of the Terms. These statistics are anonymous. We make them available to the public, to partners, and to third-party software including AI systems, free of charge or for a fee. Objecting in your account settings excludes your future predictions from these statistics.
3. Legal basis
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our contract with you (running the Service) and our legitimate interests (security, improvement and development of the Service, including the data uses in §5 of the Terms, which you may object to). Where a use needs your consent, we ask for it separately; accepting the Terms is not a consent.
4. Service providers we share data with
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) — sending transactional and invitation emails.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and security for the Service.
- Google Analytics — aggregate usage measurement (see §5 on cookies).
- Google — only if you choose “Sign in with Google”, to authenticate you.
- Recipients of crowd consensus statistics — the public, paying partners, and AI platforms that list or consume our feed (for example the MCP Registry, Anthropic, OpenAI). They receive anonymous aggregated statistics only, never personal data.
These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for the limited purposes above.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
6. Data retention
We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active and as needed to run the game. Anonymized and aggregated data derived from your activity may be retained indefinitely. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see §7).
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age required by your local law to consent to data processing, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact The Flywheel Corporation at [email protected].
